We started Erasmus Impulse with a goal to help all foreign students arriving in North Macedonia, whether on a student exchange such as Erasmus+, as a full time student or on a mobility program such as Erasmus+ Internship.

Besides those groups, we are open for students from other regions or local students that need help finding housing or want to join our events and activities.

You can cancel your reservation at any time. But there is a difference depending on when you cancel.

If you cancel your reservation before it is confirmed by the owner you won’t be charged anything.

If you cancel after your reservation is confirmed and paid for, your Erasmus Impulse fee won’t be refunded, and you may lose some or all of the rent you paid upfront – depending on the policy of the owner.

Our teammates that live close by verify some of the owners and their properties for you. They create the photos, digital floor plans and the video tours you see on our listings. Always check the Verification status and you can trust our Verified listings. 

Most landlords in the area operate only on social media and would request students to send them direct payments through bank transfer, without any guarantee for the legitimacy of their property descriptions, photos or that they will save the property for the student and not rent it to someone else by the time they arrive.

Our team mates personally verify most of the properties on our site (marked as verified) and even take the photos/videos that you can see on the verified properties. 

Aditionally, as the “middleman” we keep your payment safe by holding it as a guarantee and only releasing it to the landlord after your confirmation that you have settled at the property.

No sketchy listings, no unknown landlords and no unsecured direct payments.

You’ll pay your Erasmus Impulse fee and the required payment by the owner  (Usually first month rent and deposit). This money will be held safe by us until you move in. We’ll only send it to the landlord after your confirmation that you have settled at the property.

We’ll also put you in contact with your landlord so you can organise a check in time and the legalities such as signing a lease and registering at the police.

The only thing left for you to do is pack your bags – you’re on the move!

For now we have verifiers and verify properties only in the Shtip area, but we are working on expanding to Skopje and the whole North Macedonia.
